On 12 and 13 December 2018, Clara Ducimetière attended a Technical Workshop on Investment Treaties and Health organized by the World Health Organization for health ministers. She attended the workshop in her capacity of scholar-in-residence at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. During the workshop, discussions around international investment agreements, their substantive standards of protection and the right to regulate took place. Clara Ducimetière also participated in two group exercises on the tobacco plain packaging and the negotiation of a free trade agreement from the perspective of a health ministry.
